A royal guard began to walk out into the middle of town center with a scroll in her hands. She looked around at the surrounding citizens and then climbed onto a barrel so that everyone would hopefully be able to see and hear her. The woman then began to unroll the scroll and cleared her throat. "Attention all citizens of Gniist and surrounding islands, her Royal Highness will be hosting a ball to choose members to be accepted into her harem. Each clan and/or tribe are to send three people to the ball that they think are worthy of the Queen. Of those three, one will be chosen to join the harem by the end of the night. If you are chosen to be in the harem, you will be made to live in the royal castle and work to earn the Queen's favor. The member of the harem that the Queen likes the most will bless their tribe or clan with the Queen's promise of restoring their island back to health and bringing back the natural beauty to their homeland. Those not attempting to join the harem, but who still wish to attend the ball are welcome. A feast will be provided to all who attend. The ball will be held three days from today." The scroll was rolled back up and the guard stepped down from the barrel. The crowd all seemed to be listening but whether or not the event would be a success was a mystery.
